So been meaning to change my centro to be my business phone and get a windows phone for my personal one. The current one that I have for the business isn't really up to par with my texting standards (crappy freebie phone sprint gave me) so soon the centro will be just on the business line so I can text customers back much easier. Been eyeing the HTC touch pro, being that I do like what HTC makes and I do not have any issues with the windows mobile OS, as I use Adams Mogul all the time. So decided to test 2 new programs on his Mogul and loved what I saw :D.
First program I tested is called "Qik". A program that lets you shoot streaming video from your cellphone onto their website. Better yet, it saves it for you and the quality is not half bad. I took a quick video of the fish tank, muted the noise and posted. I am very impressed and see many uses for this nifty little program.

I might be posting some snip its of cons and such like so, just need to wait for my own phone so I do not have to take Adams :D.
Quite a few phones are supported:

The other program I tested was video chatting via the Mogul with someone on a computer. Being that I only have one windows based phone at home, I had to test with myself on the computer. So made 2 accounts and tested it out. Here are some photo snip its I took. It works so well and it does not matter if you do not have a forward facing camera on your cell. It uses whatever camera you have and makes it work. If you have a forward facing camera, then easier to show people your face when you are chatting with them instead of flipping the phone around which is what I was doing.
So in the first image you can see my mug in the middle of the screen. Which is the video from my computer camera being sent to my phone. The small screen on the top right was the video from the cellphone pointing at stuff on my desk being sent to the computer.
The second picture shows the stuff on my desk a lot bigger as that is the video that my cellphone was shooting back to the computer. I took a quick photo of the screen so it shows how you would have a conversation with someone. I will have to test it out with other windows users around to see.
The program is free and you can get it here:

I seriously love technology :D

What's really cool is the live chat - people watching your stream have a live chat, and what they type is supposed to be shown (no one ever watched my test streams so I dunno if it worked) to you on your phone's screen as you record stuff, so you can answer their questions and tell them what you're doing and whatnot. Really nifty.
